Seven new features, fifteen refinements, and a complete visual refresh across the ResearchArk ecosystem — your March 2026 beta update.

Three weeks, seven new features, fifteen refinements, and a complete visual refresh across the entire ResearchArk ecosystem. Here's everything that shipped between February 24 and March 14, 2026.
New Features
ResearchArk Inbox
A unified notification center in your top navigation. Sphere invitations, connection requests, funding matches, and smart alerts — all in one place with real-time delivery. Fine-tune which notifications you receive via new push controls in Settings.
Community Contributions
Know about a funding opportunity we don't have yet? Submit it at /contribute — no login required. Upload supporting documents, and our AI automatically extracts key details. Approved submissions go straight into ArkSearch.
Profile & Organization Images
Upload profile photos and organization logos with drag-and-drop. Avatars are automatically cropped and optimized, then appear across navigation, ArkSphere profiles, and organization pages.
Pulse: Faster & Smarter
Pulse loads instantly with polished skeleton screens and server-side data pre-fetching. Funding analytics now include accurate currency conversion across 30+ currencies and correct multi-discipline attribution.
Redesigned Privacy & Consent
A fully redesigned privacy center with clear cookie consent controls, marketing preferences, and GDPR data subject requests — all accessible from Settings. Cookie consent has also been added to Pulse and ArkConnect.
Branded Email Verification
Email verification now uses a beautifully designed ResearchArk-branded template instead of the generic system email — consistent with the rest of your experience.
All AI-powered features — ArkAssist, Graph Explorer, marketing tools, and smart alerts — now run on the latest generation models for faster, more accurate, and more nuanced results.
ArkSphere Improvements
Organizations overhauled. Register your organization directly from your profile with a smart autocomplete picker. Edit descriptions and expertise fields. Organization detail pages have been cleaned up with slug-based URLs, and your own organization is clearly badged so you never accidentally try to follow yourself.
Follow & invitation flows refined. Follow and unfollow works reliably now. Sphere invitations have been improved with better email templates and smarter AI-powered role suggestions — including better coverage for non-STEM disciplines like humanities, social sciences, and arts.
People & Network. The People page now has an organization filter to narrow by affiliation. Page loads are snappier, and the tablet experience across all ArkSphere screens has been polished — better touch targets and improved layouts on iPad and similar devices.
Search & Discovery
Smarter search suggestions. Suggestions now highlight the text you've typed in bold. ArkAssist kicks in faster when enabled, and you can refresh suggestions for fresh results.
Graph Explorer upgrades. The AI-powered Graph Explorer now shows an "Early Preview" badge and uses the latest language model. Queries in German, French, Italian, and Spanish are automatically translated, so you get accurate results regardless of language.
Multilingual & Accessibility
The entire platform — including Graph, Explore, and Profile sections — is now fully translated into German, French, Spanish, and Italian. We've also fixed previously broken translations in several sections.
Visual Refresh
Every module now has its own distinctive color-matched icon — ArkSearch in cyan, ArkAssist in gold, ArkSphere in purple, ArkNexus in teal, ArkConnect in rose, ArkID in indigo, and ArkLab in violet. The Explore page features vibrant module-themed buttons, and social media link previews are sharper and higher resolution.
We build in the open, and your feedback shapes every release. Found something off? Have an idea? No feedback is too small — it all helps us build something great for the research community.
